Be your own boss in the store

A Store is a shop run by third-year economics students. They are the "boss" of the shop for a year. They decide which products to sell, what their sales strategy will be, and how to attract customers. And, importantly: they have to make a profit! The students are responsible for the shop. Will you be too?

Entrepreneurial behavior can be learned

You want to learn to take initiative. To voice your own opinion. To try new things or take on challenges. In other words, you want to develop entrepreneurial skills. Good for you. Because that's really important these days. At mboRijnland, you can strengthen your entrepreneurial skills.

Entrepreneurial behavior takes you further

Entrepreneurial behavior means taking initiative, seeing and seizing opportunities, sharing your opinion, and collaborating. This behavior will help you move forward. With entrepreneurial behavior, you'll be able to do the things you find important. A unique internship, for example. Or an internship or course abroad.

Elective: entrepreneurial behaviour

At mboRijnland, you can take the Entrepreneurial Behavior elective. This program teaches you perseverance, creativity, curiosity, and flexibility. You'll also learn to set clear goals. All entrepreneurial skills. You'll immediately put these skills into practice, whether during your internship, at a community organization, or during masterclasses at InHolland University of Applied Sciences and exciting challenges.

You're thinking about starting your own business. Sounds like a great idea. But how do you go about it? What should you consider? What steps should you take? And how do you ensure your business is successful? Good news: with us, you can start your own business during your studies!

Teachers and alumni will help you

Starting your own business is exciting. And sometimes quite complicated. How do you write a good business plan, for example? That's why we help you get started during the program. You'll receive support from your instructors, but you'll also be mentored by alumni who now own successful businesses.

We also help you build a network. mboRijnland is a member of various local and national business organizations. We'll connect you with them, allowing you to make valuable new connections even during your studies!
